Our shop is located at 6900 Philips Hwy. Suite 44 in Jacksonville - an easy drive from Baymeadows

Baymeadows is positioned near I-95 and I-295 with convenient access to routes that feed toward Philips Hwy. Depending on your starting point, you may use Baymeadows Rd, nearby interchanges, or parallel arterials to move toward the Southside and Philips Hwy area. The corridor layout makes it easy to plan a direct drive, and the last portion of the trip is typically on surface roads near the shop.

Baymeadows has long straight corridors where glare can build up and remain consistent for extended stretches. Bright sun can create reflections off pavement and neighboring vehicles, especially in peak daylight hours. Office and retail areas often involve vehicles parked outdoors for long periods, which raises cabin temperatures and accelerates interior fading. Tint helps improve comfort during the drive and provides UV protection that supports long term interior preservation.

Baymeadows drivers are often a mix of commuting sedans and family crossovers. Sedans commonly aim for glare control and everyday comfort without darkening visibility too much. Crossovers and SUVs may prioritize stronger heat rejection to keep rear seating areas cooler, especially with larger windows. Many drivers want a clean finish that looks intentional and professional, while still delivering noticeable comfort benefits.

FAQ

  • How long does installation take?

    • You can expect anywhere between 1 and 4 hours, depending on what you would like to have done to your vehicle. Some customers may need to change 1 window due to a glass replacement - in that case it would be very fast. If we are working on your SUV with many windows, including a sunroof, these sessions can take more time.

  • When can I roll down windows?

    • We recommend 72 hours after the last window has been completed. It takes time for the adhesive to settle to the surface of the glass. Rolling the windows down can cause the film to brush against the inner workings of the mechanism. When it's freshly applied, it can be vulnerable to the slightest bumps.

  • Which film is best for heat?

    • Ceramic film is the most effective due to the way the material absorbs energy from the sun. If heat is your biggest concern, be sure to let us know and we will ensure you are taken care of.

  • Do you offer a lifetime warranty?

    • We offer an authentic lifetime warranty. For as long as you own your vehicle, we've got you covered.
