Our shop is located at 6900 Philips Hwy. Suite 44 in Jacksonville - an easy drive from Southside

Southside is close to the Philips Hwy corridor and connects through major routes such as JTB (SR-202), I-95, and nearby arterials depending on where you start. Many parts of Southside are laid out around large commercial corridors, so routes tend to be straightforward even if traffic varies. If you are near Baymeadows, Gate Parkway, or Butler Blvd, you typically have multiple route options that lead toward Philips Hwy.

Southside driving often involves long stretches of direct sun along wide roads and high traffic corridors. Glare can be persistent during morning and afternoon commutes, especially when driving east or west. The area also has plenty of open parking lots, which can cause heat soak when vehicles sit outside during work and errands. Tint can reduce glare, lower cabin temperatures, and help protect dashboards and interiors from UV exposure in Florida sun.

Southside drivers include daily commuters, professionals, and families running frequent errands. Sedans often focus on balanced comfort with clear visibility, while crossovers commonly prioritize stronger heat reduction for stop-and-go traffic. SUVs with larger glass areas can benefit from added privacy and temperature control, especially for rear passengers. Film choice often comes down to how much heat rejection you want, your preferred appearance, and how the vehicle is used day to day.

FAQ

  • How long does installation take?

    • You can expect anywhere between 1 and 4 hours, depending on what you would like to have done to your vehicle. Some customers may need to change 1 window due to a glass replacement - in that case it would be very fast. If we are working on your SUV with many windows, including a sunroof, these sessions can take more time.

  • When can I roll down windows?

    • We recommend 72 hours after the last window has been completed. It takes time for the adhesive to settle to the surface of the glass. Rolling the windows down can cause the film to brush against the inner workings of the mechanism. When it's freshly applied, it can be vulnerable to the slightest bumps.

  • Which film is best for heat?

    • Ceramic film is the most effective due to the way the material absorbs energy from the sun. If heat is your biggest concern, be sure to let us know and we will ensure you are taken care of.

  • Do you offer a lifetime warranty?

    • We offer an authentic lifetime warranty. For as long as you own your vehicle, we've got you covered.
